Wanavokali is a group of six young Kenyan musicians Chep, Lena, Mella, Riki, Sam, and Ythera. They share a passion of expressing themselves through music and seeing the Kenyan music industry thrive and become better. They met at the 2018 Safaricom Twaweza Live Tour as background vocalists performing on stages across Kenya with some of the biggest musicians, producers, recording artists, and dancers that the country has to offer.

Throughout the whole period, they got to learn and experience music, and especially Kenyan Music, in a different and unique light. While still actively pursuing their solo careers in the Kenyan music industry, their experiences as background vocalists prompted them to get together as Wanavokali; Solo, Backing Vocals and Harmonies for Artists, Producers, and Composers for Studio Recording Sessions and Live Performances. They believe that Kenyan Music is beautiful and want to share it with the world.
