Tolani is a Lagos born, London bred artist who takes influences from her multi-cultural upbringing and fuses them into a unique sound that speaks to Nigeria, yet is true to herself. A rising star, Tolani, has been quietly building a music career over the past few years. She makes unique art, which fuses Afro Pop melodies with incisive song writing. The singer, credits a wide range of influences from hometown heroes Fela Kuti, Asa and Sade, to artists like The Fray, Aerosmith, Tracey Chapman, Snoop Dogg and Patra. Her released repertoire includes her debut single, “Tenderoni”, which featured Skales and second single “Ba Mi Lo”, which featured Reekado Banks. Her latest single “Liar” will be featured on her upcoming E.P. Tolani has performed on many stages, including a pivotal set at the 2018 Lagos Fashion and Design Week and Pepsi’s Rhythm Unplugged. In her free time she paints with acrylic on canvas.
