Mula (also Mula Nivakine), born Gohourou Brigitte Lorraine on February 10, 198, is an Ivorian singer and songwriter. She got known in 2017 thanks to a video in which she covers the song "Reine" by Dadju and "Misrable" by Singuila. The video has more than 800,000 views on Youtube by August 2020.
She started her career in 2018 and joined the Ivorian music label Soul Squad Music and released the single, "Shoop Shoop" in September 2018. She continues to do covers on cult songs such as "Redemption song" by Bob Marley, "Je te Promets" by Zaho, "Anchored to your port" by Fanny J. In April 2020, she released "Là-bas", a cover of the classic "Là-bas" by Jean-Jacques Goldman and Sirima.

She signed with Sony Music in October 2019.

In June 2020, Mula released "Paradis", her first single under Sony Music. The song was promoted by singer Aya Nakumura who shared it in one of her live video on social ; which allows the song to gain visibility and the young Ivorian singer to be better known on the international scene.

Mula holds a bachelor's degree in industrial plumbing. Before starting her career in music, Mula Nivaine was a columnist on the program Hip Hop Session with Ozone Afrikbamba on RTI2 and also on Radio Yopougon with Roxell Dazir.
