Alex du Kamer is a "Babtou Bantu" artist who does Cameroonian-style hip-hop.
He made a name for himself in 2014 with “The country is sweet”, a song in Camfranglais (Cameroonian slang), coupled with a very offbeat clip, which generated an immediate buzz. He then goes on to hit clips like “Nyangalement” in which he raps on traditional makossa, does featurings with well-known Cameroonian artists, and turns in the hit webseries Pakgne.
In May 2018, he released his first album, Muna Mboa.
Living today between Paris and Douala.
